It has been almost 11 months and counting since I have been diagnosed with diabetes.  Living with it for almost a year has been rough, however, not very difficult.  Cutting out the sugar was the easy part.  It has been keeping up with the exercising and maintaining the weight that has not been as easy.  I still get compliments from people that have not seen me in a while, but it is not as often.  Well, the summer is coming around, and hopefully that will give me more incentive to run or work out.
