My Blood Glucose Level is Stabilizing

If you have been reading along the past week, you will have read that my doctor took me off of all the sugar pills. Over the next few days my blood glucose readings were abnormal (for me). Whereas I almost never see my BG as high as 110, it was going up to the upper 110's 3 hours after a meal and the upper 90s for a morning reading after a fast. Yeah, I know some of you reading this would love to have numbers like that without any medication, and you might be thinking "screw you" complaining with numbers like this. However, I have worked awfully hard over the last few months to get myself off the medication and I did want to see any decline in my BG. I want the fruits of my labor to pay off, not to throw it back on my face and put me back on the meds.
Anyway, I am happy to say that I am beginning to see some type of stabilization of my BG. I am not where I was before being taken off metformin, but I am not getting those high numbers either. My BG was under 100 this morning with an 83 random during the day and a 102 3 hours after dinner. Still not where I was, but getting better.
