A1c of 6.2 !!!

Yeah, I rock.  I called the doctor today for my blood test results and got some good news from the nurse.  A good sign, since it is the doctor that would give the bad news.  Every one of the levels checked for - cholesterol, triglycerides, etc. are all within the normal range.  Even better, my A1c level was a 6.2, which is within the normal range for the lab used.  Not bad for a guy diagnosed three months before and having the blood taken at 2 1/2 months, not at three months.  Feeling good.

If I can do it, anyone else out there reading this can do it too.  I just hope I can keep it up and not fall off the bandwagon.   That, for me, will be the hard part.
